Wendy L. Wyse advises corporations on developments in employment and wage and hour laws, contract disputes, termination, employee handbooks, sexual harassment, employment discrimination and wrongful discharge. She counsels public and private schools on education law. As a litigator, she represents corporations (profit and nonprofit), public entities and individuals on a wide variety of matters. She has substantial experience in real estate, land use, contract and tort disputes. Her litigation and trial experience includes extensive practice before state and federal trial and appellate courts, as well as arbitrations and mediations. She frequently serves as an arbitrator and settlement conference panelist for the Marin Superior Court.
Before joining the firm in 1983, Ms. Wyse was a partner with Morrison & Foerster in San Francisco, California. She began her legal career in New York City with Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton.
Ms. Wyse is a long-time participant in nonprofit community and educational activities. She has served as president of the Kent Woodlands Property Owners Association, PTA president of Kent Middle School, and president of the Woodlands Sponsors, a charitable organization.
She has co-chaired the Redwood High School Support Fund and is a recipient of the Kent School Community Service Award. A graduate and member of the Environmental Forum, Ms. Wyse is also a Master Gardener with the University of California Cooperative Extension Program.
